    Customer Service Updates

    Water service turn-offs for nonpayment have resumed. Please ensure your delinquent balance is paid to avoid service disconnection.

    The Public Utilities Customer Service Center, located at 2809 S Lynnhaven Road Suite 250 (second floor), is open to the public.

    Our call center (757-385-4631) is regularly experiencing high call volumes. If all of our customer service representatives are assisting other customers when you call, you will hear a message telling you to hang up and try again.

    Urgent calls currently accepted at (757) 385-4171 include:

    • No water complaints
    • Low water pressure complaints
    • Burst pipes or other emergency turn-offs
    • Meter leaks
    • Hazardous meter lids

    Routine requests can be submitted online and will be processed as soon as possible. When submitting a request online, be sure to include your account number, address, full name and phone number associated with the account.
