The Department of Public Utilities is replacing the sanitary sewer pump station located at 2897 Hawk Ave. The pump station, built in 1969, has reached the end of its useful life and has experienced ongoing flooding issues. The work is being done as part of the Department's Aging Infrastructure Program.

A new pump station will be constructed at 1328 Old Clubhouse Road. The new station will be built at a higher elevation to alleviate flooding issues. Additionally, a permanent generator will be installed as a backup power source. Once completed, the expected service life of the pump station is at least 60 years.
