The Department of Public Utilities is replacing the sanitary sewer pump station located at 918 Amesbury Road as part of the aging infrastructure program. 

The pump station, built in 1974, has reached the end of its useful life. A new pump station will be constructed on the adjacent property at 916 Amesbury Road.

Once completed, the expected service life of the pump station is at least 60 years.
