As part the City of Virginia Beach Department of Public Utilities’ Aging Infrastructure Program, the department is replacing approximately 2,040 feet of sanitary sewer force main along Central Drive between the pump station at 570 Central Drive and International Parkway. The existing force main, installed in 1992, has reached the end of its useful life and has experienced ongoing issues. This project will improve the public infrastructure serving the area and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
