As part of the City of Virginia Beach Department of Public Utilities’ Aging Infrastructure Program, the department will replace the current sanitary sewer pump station located at 3079 Blackstone Court. The pump station, built in 1981, has reached the end of its useful life and has experienced ongoing operational issues. A new pump station will be constructed at 1072 Salisbury Drive. The new station will feature advanced technology and highly efficient electrical and mechanical equipment. The new site will allow better access to the pump station.

In addition to the new pump station, the project will include significant work on the water and sewer mains within the Salisbury Drive right-of-way, between the new station site and Magic Hollow Boulevard.
