The water storage tank located at 408 Sandbridge Road is being repainted.
The Department of Public Utilities is repainting the water storage tank located at 408 Sandbridge Road. The tank will be painted white, and both the exterior and interior coating system of the tank will be replaced. The water tank was last painted about 25 years ago. This work is being done as part of the department's Aging Infrastructure Program.
Normal working hours are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Construction vehicles will enter and exit the work area via Marlin Lane. No lane closures or water service interruptions are planned for this project.
Once completed, the expected service life of the new coating system is at least 20 years.
